President, Connecticut Water Services and Connecticut Water

Craig J. Patla is the president of Connecticut Water and Connecticut Water Service Inc., which includes Maine Water and New England Water Utility Services.

He’s spent his career at Connecticut Water, starting in 1990 as a field engineer and serving in engineering and operations positions, as well as the vice president of service delivery. He has been responsible for company supply operations, field services, water quality, environmental compliance, safety and engineering, and planning functions for the company over his 30+ year career.

He is a member of the Public Utilities Regulatory Authority’s Emergency Support Function #12 team and the Board of Directors for Operation Fuel and has served in leadership roles with the Connecticut section of the American Water Works Association, the Connecticut Water Works Association, and the National Association of Water Companies. Craig is a licensed professional engineer in the state of Connecticut and holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Massachusetts.
