Our Team
Managing Partners
Andrew Walters is the chief executive officer of H2O America (NASDAQ:HTO). He has over 26 years of experience in leadership, finance, banking, private equity, operations, and strategy roles. Before being named CEO, Walters served as the company’s chief financial officer and treasurer for 3 years.
Andrew first joined H2O America in 2014 to oversee human resources, information technology, business development and strategy. He also assisted with the management of regional operations and investor relations. In that role, Andrew developed the strategy and led the company’s announcement to purchase Connecticut Water Service Inc. (NASDAQ: CTWS) in a $1.1 billion transaction in 2019.
Prior to H2O America, Andrew served as a Managing Director at both JP Morgan in private equity infrastructure investing and Citigroup in investment banking. At Citigroup, he held leadership roles in Asia and the U.S., managing infrastructure and transportation investment banking teams across Asia Pacific and the Americas. His experience spans multiple industries and geographies, including Europe, Asia, and the Americas. During his career, he has executed over $50 billion in transactions through mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, equity offerings, IPOs, private equity fundraising and debt offerings. Andrew has broad depth of experience in driving companies to best leverage technology, data, information, and cloud technologies while keeping risk areas around cyber-security and disaster recovery at the forefront. The strong foundation in finance has served him well in providing advice to management teams and boards of directors to improve operations and successfully accomplish transformative transactions that propel companies’ growth and competitive position.
Andrew holds a B.S. in Business Management and Operations from Colorado State University.
Bruce A. Hauk currently serves as president and chief operating officer for H2O America (NASDAQ:HTO). He served as chief corporate development & strategy officer upon joining H2O America in August 2022. Bruce has led teams and driven results at both the state and national levels in all areas of water utilities, including regulatory, customer service and operations. Prior to joining H2O America, Bruce was president of NextEra Water and served in many leadership roles at American Water, including deputy chief operating officer. His operations there spanned over 3.4 million customers, a capital budget of $1.9 billion, and over 5,000 employees.
Bruce is a director of the National Utilities Diversity Council and was the recipient of the 2019 Inclusion & Diversity Award presented by the National Black Chamber of Commerce. He has a Bachelor of Science in chemistry and life sciences from Indiana State University, a Master of Public Administration from Indiana University-Purdue University, and a Master of Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University. He is a licensed operator in water and wastewater treatment.
Kristen Johnson serves as president of shared services, senior vice president and chief administrative officer at H2O America (NASDAQ: HTO). In this role, she leads the company’s Shared Services Organization, which includes Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Executive Compensation, Human Resources, and Corporate Communications. Kristen is responsible for driving strategic initiatives that deliver meaningful value to customers, employees, communities, shareholders, and the environment.
Since joining Connecticut Water in 2007 as Director of Human Resources, Kristen has held several key leadership roles, including vice president, human resources officer, corporate secretary, and ethics officer. She has played a pivotal role in multiple acquisitions and integrations, notably serving as executive co-lead of the integration management office during the 2019 merger of Connecticut Water Service, Inc. and H2O America.
Prior to her time in the water utility industry, Kristen held leadership roles in the hospitality and financial services sectors. She has served on the boards of Rockville Bank (RCKB), Connecticut Water Service, Inc. (CTWS), and United Bankcorp (UBNK), and was recognized as an NACD Directorship 100 honoree for her contributions to corporate governance.
Kristen holds a bachelor’s degree in Art History and American History and a master’s degree in Human Resources Development. She is also a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) through WorldatWork.

Ann Kelly is the chief financial officer and treasurer for H2O America (NASDAQ:HTO), and a seasoned utility executive with deep expertise in financial and accounting leadership. Prior to being named CFO, Kelly served as the company’s chief accounting officer.
Prior to joining H2O America in 2024, Ann was the chief financial officer for American Electric Power (AEP), one of the nation’s largest pure play electric companies, serving 5.6 million customers across 11 states. At AEP, she led a team of more than 250 professionals in critical areas, including accounting and tax, treasury and risk, corporate planning and budgeting, and investor relations functions.
Prior to joining AEP, she served in various roles of increasing responsibility at UGI Corporation and its subsidiaries, a natural gas, propane, and electric power distribution company, up to vice president finance and chief financial officer, AmeriGas Propane, a UGI subsidiary. Her utility experience also includes financial and risk control roles at Exelon Generation/PECO Energy.
Ann has a Bachelor of Arts in accounting from Ohio Wesleyan University and a master’s in business administration with a concentration in finance from Villanova University.
Willie Brown is the vice president and general counsel of H2O America (NASDAQ:HTO). Willie served as corporate secretary of H2O America and SJW from January 2020 to October 2023. He served as assistant general counsel of H2O America and SJW from January 2020 to June 2021. From April 2018 to October 2023, Willie served as counsel and corporate secretary of various subsidiaries of the corporation. Since joining SJW in 2008, Willie has held various legal positions of increasing scope and responsibly. Prior to joining SJW, Willie was an associate at two Silicon Valley law firms and is a member of the State Bar of California.
Operations Committee
Tanya Moniz-Witten is president of San Jose Water, which serves over one million people in the greater San Jose metropolitan area. In this role, she is responsible for driving strategy, operational excellence, and ensuring regulatory compliance for one of the most technologically advanced urban water systems in the country.
Tanya has spent the bulk of her career in the utility industry, most recently as vice president of electric distribution field operations for National Grid. Prior to this, she spent nearly two decades at PG&E where she held various positions in electric operations, customer service, finance, and shared services operations.
Tanya received a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies from UC, Santa Barbara, and an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
Craig J. Patla is the president of Connecticut Water and Connecticut Water Service Inc., which includes Maine Water and New England Water Utility Services.
He’s spent his career at Connecticut Water, starting in 1990 as a field engineer and serving in engineering and operations positions, as well as the vice president of service delivery. He has been responsible for company supply operations, field services, water quality, environmental compliance, safety and engineering, and planning functions for the company over his 30+ year career.
He is a member of the Public Utilities Regulatory Authority’s Emergency Support Function #12 team and the Board of Directors for Operation Fuel and has served in leadership roles with the Connecticut section of the American Water Works Association, the Connecticut Water Works Association, and the National Association of Water Companies. Craig is a licensed professional engineer in the state of Connecticut and holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Massachusetts.
Aundrea has served as president of Texas Water since August 2023. Before joining Texas Water, she held various positions at NextEra Energy Resources, a publicly traded company on the NYSE. At NextEra, she was the executive director of regulatory and legislative affairs. Additionally, she was the president of NextEra Water Texas, NextEra Energy Transmission (NEET) Midwest, Lone Star Transmission, and NEET Southwest. Before her tenure at NextEra, Aundrea worked at NRG for several years as vice president of regulatory and legislative strategy and policy.
Mark Vannoy has served as the president of Maine Water since 2019, bringing extensive leadership experience from his prior role as chair of the Maine Public Utility Commission, a position he held from 2014 to 2018. With a strong commitment to service, technical expertise, and environmental stewardship, Mark is dedicated to enhancing the company's operations and fostering strong relationships with employees, customers, and communities.
A retired U.S. Navy officer, Mark is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and holds a master’s degree in civil and environmental engineering from Cornell University. He resides in Waldoboro with his family.
Kay New is the chief human resources officer for H2O America (NASDAQ:HTO) and brings more than two decades of leadership experience in human resources. Prior to her role at H2O America, Kay served as vice president of rewards and employee experience at Avangrid, a national energy company serving more than 3 million customers across 24 states, where she helped shape the full employee journey—from onboarding and benefits to policy, compliance, and global mobility. In addition, she spearheaded the successful implementation of enterprise-wide HR technologies, including Workday and ServiceNow, to modernize and streamline employee experience.
Prior to joining AvanGrid, Kay held key talent acquisition and recruitment roles at SGS North America, the world's leading testing, inspection and certification company, and with local business enterprises. She began her career as a supervisor at US Bank, the fifth-largest commercial banking company in the United States. Kay holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration – HR Management from the DeVoe School of Business at Indiana Wesleyan University.
Douwe Busschops is the chief information officer of H2O America (NASDAQ:HTO) and an accomplished technology leader with substantial experience leading digital innovation and customer-focused technology solutions. Douwe most recently served as vice president and CIO for Veolia North America’s municipal water division. In that role, he successfully led digital modernization and rationalization initiatives, including cloud migrations and system upgrades. He also designed and implemented a digital governance model to ensure optimal utilization of resources and compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
Prior to Veolia, Douwe held senior leadership roles at SUEZ Water North America, where he led customer service and technology improvements that enhanced both operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. He is a CIO 100 Award recipient and served as the chair of the customer experience committee for the National Association of Water Companies. He holds a master’s in international business studies from Maastricht University.
Megan Mattern is the chief accounting officer, principal accounting officer, and controller for H2O America (NASDAQ:HTO). She brings more than two decades of experience in financial leadership across the energy and utility sectors. In this role, she oversees the company’s accounting operations, financial reporting, financial planning and analysis, regulatory compliance, cost management, and internal controls.
Before joining H2O America in 2025, Megan served as vice president and chief financial officer for UGI International, a $2.3 billion multinational liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) distributor headquartered in Paris. At UGI International, she led financial strategy across 16 countries and a team of more than 2,200 employees, delivering over 15% EBIT growth and securing more than $1 million in annual banking efficiencies. During a CEO transition, she was also appointed Deputy and led the entire organization, demonstrating her capacity to lead with stability and strategic clarity.
Earlier in her career, she held senior finance roles at UGI Energy Services, UGI Utilities, and PPL Corporation, where she led initiatives in mergers and acquisitions, financial transformation, and systems modernization. She began her career at Deloitte.
Megan holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from King’s College and a master’s in business administration from Wilkes University. She is a licensed CPA and has served on several nonprofit boards, reflecting her ongoing commitment to community involvement and servant leadership.
Michelle Royce Williams is the vice president of customer experience for H2O America (NASDAQ: HTO), where she leads the company’s customer service operations with a focus on delivering exceptional service across all markets.
Since joining H2O America in 2019, Williams has held key roles spanning communications, sustainability, and governmental affairs, each contributing to the company’s mission of providing high-quality and reliable water services to customers and the community. Her diverse background within the organization brings a broad, strategic perspective to her current role.
Before joining H2O America, Michelle led the social media team for a major gaming and hospitality company, where she was responsible for overall social strategy.
Michelle holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Connecticut and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Energy and Environmental Management from her alma mater.
Peter Fletcher, vice president and information security officer for H2O America (NASDAQ: HTO), is a cybersecurity leader with 30+ years of experience building and managing security programs. He specializes in cybersecurity strategy, governance, risk management, and compliance. He has led teams across critical industries, including utilities, eCommerce, eLearning, and retail, driving initiatives in C2M2 and CIS CSC frameworks, data protection, PCI DSS security, and cloud security. Known for mentoring teams and aligning security with business objectives, Peter ensures resilient and compliant cybersecurity operations.
Marisa Joss serves as deputy general counsel and corporate secretary at H2O America (NASDAQ: HTO). In this role, she supports the company’s board of directors and managing partners on matters related to corporate governance, compliance, and legal affairs. Marisa also oversees legal affairs for H2O America’s subsidiaries.
Since joining H2O America in 2022, Marisa has contributed her deep legal expertise, collaborative leadership style, and commitment to transparency and ethical governance. She assumed the role of corporate secretary in 2024, enabling her to further advance the company’s focus on sound corporate practices and stakeholder trust.
Prior to joining H2O America, Marisa served as deputy general counsel and assistant corporate secretary at Eleusis, a biotech company with operations in New York and London. She previously spent over a decade at Consolidated Edison, where she advised the board of directors and led key corporate governance and compliance initiatives.
Marisa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa, and a Juris Doctor from New York Law School, where she was a Law Review member and merit scholarship recipient.
Nicholas Whitley serves as Vice President of Business Development at H2O America, where he leads the company’s strategic growth initiatives. Nick brings more than 20 years of experience in corporate development, mergers and acquisitions, and infrastructure investing across the utility, energy, and industrial sectors.
Before joining H2O America, Nick was Managing Director of Business Development at NW Natural Holdings, where he set strategic priorities for inorganic growth across water, wastewater, and natural gas businesses. During his tenure, Nick led and executed more than 30 acquisitions, helping to diversify and expand the company’s operations across multiple states. Prior to NW Natural Holdings, Nick held senior business development and M&A leadership roles at GE Oil & Gas and Wellbore Integrity Solutions. He began his career in investment banking with Houlihan Lokey in New York and Lehman Brothers in London.
Nick holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, with a concentration in finance, and has completed executive education at Harvard Business School.

Mr. Rowe is a principal at NOR Solution and has 39 years of experience in the drinking water industry, including serving as the senior vice president of American Water Works Company (American Water) and president of its subsidiary, Kentucky American Water from 2011 until his retirement in 2022. During his tenure at American Water, he held multiple executive leadership roles focused on operations and long-term value creation. Mr. Rowe also has extensive water utility experience in customer service, regulatory compliance, and local stakeholder relationships. Mr. Rowe joined American Water in 1981 as a senior resident engineer. He held positions of manager eastern operations, vice president service delivery – operations southeast region, and senior vice president eastern division, and president Kentucky American and senior vice president. Mr. Rowe previously served as board chair of the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, past chair of the Kentucky Governor’s Higher Education Nominating Committee, he served on the boards of Lexington Clinic and First Security Bank. He is a graduate of Western Kentucky University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering; he also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Lebanon Valley College in Pennsylvania. In addition, he completed the Thames Water Oxford Leadership and RWE International Leadership programs.
Mr. Landis currently serves as Of Counsel to 3DLaw, PLLC (formerly, 300degrees PLLC), a position he has held since 2021, and was Of Counsel to Yarmuth LLP from 2016 until 2021. Prior to these roles, Mr. Landis served as General Counsel and Senior Vice President of TerraPower, LLC from 2013 until 2015 and Senior Advisor from 2015 until 2018. Mr. Landis also served as a director of Unwired Planet, Inc. from 2013 to 2015. He was General Counsel and then Senior Legal Advisor of Intellectual Ventures from 2007 until 2012. Previously, Mr. Landis served as the General Counsel and Executive Vice President of Vulcan Inc. from 2005 to 2007, and from 1995 to 2005 was the General Counsel of AT&T Wireless Services, Inc., where he also served as Executive Vice President and Corporate Secretary. From 1985 until 1995, Mr. Landis was a partner at the law firm of McCutchen, Doyle, Brown & Enersen. Mr. Landis holds a Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Harvard Law School and a Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, from Yale University.

Mr. Guardino currently serves as Vice President of Government Affairs and Policy at Tarana Wireless, Inc., a position he has held since November 2022. In 2007, the Governor of California appointed Mr. Guardino as a Commissioner of the California Transportation Commission and he is serving in his fifth term. Mr. Guardino served as the Chair of the Commission from March 2024 to February 2025 and as the Vice-Chair from March 2023 to February 2024 Mr. Guardino served as a director on the board of Equilar, Inc. until 2021. Mr. Guardino served as Executive Vice President, Government Affairs and Policy at Bloom Energy Corp. from 2020 to 2022. He served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Silicon Valley Leadership Group (“SVLG”) from 1997 to 2020 and served as Vice President from 1991 to 1995. From 2002 to 2020, he also served as Executive Director of SVLG Foundation. He also held an executive position in governmental affairs with Hewlett-Packard Corporation from 1995 to 1997. From 1987 to 1990, he served as Chief Assistant for California State Assemblyman Rusty Areias. Mr. Guardino received a Bachelor of Arts in political science from San Jose State University where he is a Distinguished Alumnus.
Ms. Wallace currently serves as a director of Sandstone Group, LLC, a position she has held since 2012. Prior to serving on the Board of the Corporation, Ms. Wallace served as a director of CTWS from 2002 until its acquisition by the Corporation in 2019, as Chair of the CTWS Board from 2017 to 2019, and as Lead Independent Director of CTWS from 2012 until 2017. She served as the Chief Executive Officer of Cooper-Atkins Corporation, a manufacturer of temperature acquisition instruments, from 1994 until 2018 and as an employee from 1991, prior to its new ownership. She served as a Board member of Middlesex Hospital, Middletown, Connecticut from 2013 until 2018. Ms. Wallace served as a director of Zygo Corporation from 2005 until 2014. Ms. Wallace received a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Middlebury College.
Mr. More served as a Senior Advisor to Guggenheim Securities from 2015 to 2015, and as a Director of Clearway Energy, Inc. since 2019. He served as a Managing Director and Global Head of Utility Mergers & Acquisitions of the Investment Banking Division of Morgan Stanley from 1996 until his retirement in 2014. Mr. More has been an investment banker since 1978 and has specialized in the utility sector since 1986. He served as a director of Saeta Yield from 2015 until 2018 and served as a director of the New York Independent System Operator from 2014 until 2016. Mr. More holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Colby College and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Ms. Kruger has over 25 years of experience in the utility industry, including serving as the Senior Vice President, Operations, Regulated Utilities, for Golden State Water Company, a subsidiary of American States Water that provides water and electric service to customers in California, from 2004 until 2021. Ms. Kruger had oversight of all functions in Regulated Utilities, including water operations, asset management, environmental quality, customer and community relations, customer service, water use efficiency, water resources, and customer growth through acquisitions of regulated water systems in California. She joined Golden State Water Company in 1992 as Manager of Quality Assurance and Water Quality. Ms. Kruger held the positions of Vice President, Water Quality, and Vice President, Customer Service. Ms. Kruger previously served as a director of the California Foundation for the Environment and Economy from 2016 to 2021. Ms. Kruger received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California-Davis, and a Master of Business Administration Degree from the University of California-Irvine.
Ms. Hunt currently serves as an Executive Director of the New England States Committee on Electricity since 2009. From 2003 to 2008, she was an attorney and practiced regulatory law in Connecticut. Ms. Hunt served as a director of CTWS from 2006 until its acquisition by the Corporation in 2019. From 2001 to 2003, Ms. Hunt was Director of State and Local Government Affairs at United Technologies Corporation and before that she worked at the Southern Connecticut Gas Company in various regulatory and public policy capacities, ultimately serving as its Vice President. Ms. Hunt served as a Commissioner of the Maine Public Utilities Commission from 1995 to 1998 and as a Commissioner of the Connecticut Department of Public Utility Control from October 1993 to 1995. Ms. Hunt served on the Living Donor Committee of the Organ Procurement and Transplant Network, the non-profit organization that manages the nation's organ transplant system under contract with the federal government, from 2015 to 2022. Ms. Hunt received a Bachelor of Arts in Politics from Fairfield University and a Juris Doctor from Western New England College School of Law.
Ms. Hanley has been a Trustee of Goodwin University since 2018 and currently serves on the University’s Executive Committee and Chairs the Economic and Strategic Development Committee since 2017. Ms. Hanley has also been a Director of Enders Island, a retreat center, and a member of its finance committee since 2021. Ms. Hanley served as a director of Connecticut Water Service, Inc. ("CTWS") from 1999 until its acquisition by the Corporation in 2019. Ms. Hanley served as Director of the Valencia Society, the endowment fund for St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center, which is part of Trinity Health of New England (“Trinity Health”), from 1998 to 2003, and as an officer for business development from 2003 to 2013 and liaison for government and community alliances at Trinity Health from 2013 to 2023. Ms. Hanley served as the Chair of the Board of Oak Hill School, the largest private non-profit provider of services for people with disabilities in Connecticut, from 2017 until 2021. From 1995 to 1998, she was Legal Counsel to the Governor's Office, State of Connecticut and then Director of the State's Office for Workforce Competitiveness from 1999 to 2010. Ms. Hanley received a Bachelor of Arts from UCONN and a Master's Degree in Public Policy from Trinity College and UCONN School of Law.
Ms. Klein is Principal of Klein Energy, LLC, an energy consulting company based in Austin, Texas, a position she has held since she founded the firm in 2006. Ms. Klein served on the Board of the Lower Colorado River Authority, including as Chair, from 2007 to 2013. Previously, Ms. Klein was the Chair of the Texas Public Utility Commission from 2001 to 2004. Ms. Klein also worked for KPMG Consulting (now Deloitte) where she headed the development of the Office of Government Affairs and Industry Relations in Washington, D.C., from 2000 to 2001. Ms. Klein has served on the board of Avista Corp., a publicly traded utility in the Pacific Northwest since 2010, and Diamondback Energy, a publicly traded oil and natural gas company since 2022. Ms. Klein is a Board member of Los Alamos Technical Associates, a privately held environmental remediation and engineering company, since 2022. She is also the Founder and a director of the Texas Energy Poverty Research Institute since 2015. Ms. Klein serves on the Advisory Board of Saber Partners, a financial advisory firm specializing in utility securitizations, since 2006. Ms. Klein retired from the U.S. Air Force Reserve as a Lieutenant Colonel. Ms. Klein earned a Juris Doctor from St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio, Texas. She also holds a Master of Arts in National Security Studies from Georgetown University, a Bachelor of Arts in Human Biology from Stanford University, and a Master of Business Administration from MIT.
