Tanya Moniz-Witten
Tanya Moniz-Witten is president of San Jose Water, which serves over one million people in the greater San Jose metropolitan area. In this role, she is responsible for driving strategy, operational excellence, and ensuring regulatory compliance for one of the most technologically advanced urban water systems in the country.
Tanya has spent the bulk of her career in the utility industry, most recently as vice president of electric distribution field operations for National Grid. Prior to this, she spent nearly two decades at PG&E where she held various positions in electric operations, customer service, finance, and shared services operations.
Tanya received a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies from UC, Santa Barbara, and an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
