Douwe Busschops
Douwe Busschops is the chief information officer of H2O America (NASDAQ:HTO) and an accomplished technology leader with substantial experience leading digital innovation and customer-focused technology solutions. Douwe most recently served as vice president and CIO for Veolia North America’s municipal water division. In that role, he successfully led digital modernization and rationalization initiatives, including cloud migrations and system upgrades. He also designed and implemented a digital governance model to ensure optimal utilization of resources and compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
Prior to Veolia, Douwe held senior leadership roles at SUEZ Water North America, where he led customer service and technology improvements that enhanced both operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. He is a CIO 100 Award recipient and served as the chair of the customer experience committee for the National Association of Water Companies. He holds a master’s in international business studies from Maastricht University.
