Megan Mattern
Megan Mattern is the chief accounting officer, principal accounting officer, and controller for H2O America (NASDAQ:HTO). She brings more than two decades of experience in financial leadership across the energy and utility sectors. In this role, she oversees the company’s accounting operations, financial reporting, financial planning and analysis, regulatory compliance, cost management, and internal controls.
Before joining H2O America in 2025, Megan served as vice president and chief financial officer for UGI International, a $2.3 billion multinational liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) distributor headquartered in Paris. At UGI International, she led financial strategy across 16 countries and a team of more than 2,200 employees, delivering over 15% EBIT growth and securing more than $1 million in annual banking efficiencies. During a CEO transition, she was also appointed Deputy and led the entire organization, demonstrating her capacity to lead with stability and strategic clarity.
Earlier in her career, she held senior finance roles at UGI Energy Services, UGI Utilities, and PPL Corporation, where she led initiatives in mergers and acquisitions, financial transformation, and systems modernization. She began her career at Deloitte.
Megan holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from King’s College and a master’s in business administration from Wilkes University. She is a licensed CPA and has served on several nonprofit boards, reflecting her ongoing commitment to community involvement and servant leadership.
